REMINDER

Animal Ethics Reports 2005 - MANDATORY Reporting Requirements

In compliance with the Australian code of practice for the care and use of
animals for scientific purposes, 7th Edition, 2004 and the Queensland Animal
Care and Protection Act, 2001, and in accordance with ethics approvals
granted, reports on animal usage for 2005 must be submitted to the Animal
Ethics Committee by 10 February 2006. (PLEASE NOTE: HONOURS STUDENTS MUST
SUBMIT ANIMAL ETHICS REPORTS UPON COMPLETION OF THEIR PROJECTS.)

The pro-forma Animal Ethics Report Form (Reports must be submitted on this
form) and Guidelines for the completion of the report can be found at:

A fully signed HARD COPY of the report should be submitted to Tina Langford,
Ethics Officer, Research Office.

(If there has been no animal usage in 2005 a "NIL" report must be
submitted.)
