[Staff-bulletins] Attendant Care Worker Required in Townsville - Pay rate of $18.93 per hour (Up to $27.00 on weekends)

POSITION VACANT:

ATTENDANT CARE WORKER

 

 

We are looking for a confident and mature woman to provide full support to a 30 year old woman with a physical disability in her home. 

 

The right person for this job must have:

  • Good Communication Skills
  • Caring nature
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also unsupervised.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Common sense
  • Enthusiastic manner.

 

This is a casual position but must be available to work weekends and some sleepovers (by negotiation).  Experience is welcome but not essential as full training and an induction will be provided.   Level 3.1 DSW award applies at $18.93 per hour plus penalties for evening and weekend work.

 

Duties Include:

·  Full Personal Care

·  Lifting

·  Assistance with Medication

·  Care and Use of Medical Aids

·  Liaison with Family and Allied Services

·  Some Community Access

POSITION VACANT:  SUPPORT WORKER

 

 

We are looking for a confident and mature woman to provide full support to a 29 year old woman with a physical disability.

 

The right person for this job must have:

  • Good Communication Skills
  • Mature Attitude
  • Physically and mentally confident
  • Caring nature
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Common sense
  • Enthusiastic manner.

 

This is a casual position and although previous experience is welcome, it is not essential as full training and an induction will be provided.   Level 3.1 DSW award applies at $18.93 per hour plus penalties for evening and weekend work.

 

Duties Include:

·  Some Personal Care

·  Assistance with community access.

·  Liaison with Family and Allied Services

·  One shift of approximately 5-6 hours every Thursday.
