[Staff-bulletins] CDC PROJECT UPDATE (No 15) - TRENCHING in VET PRECINCT - DOUGLAS ONLY



PLEASE DISREGARD IF YOU ARE NOT A DOUGLAS CAMPUS USER.

 

UPDATE ABOUT CDC PROJECT WORK IN VET PRECINCT

 

Please refer to the attached updated drawing.  It covers all work in the precinct occurring over the coming week.  Highlights are:

 

FRI 8th AUG                  SOLANDER ROAD CUT OPPOSITE DB094 (re-open by Mon 11th Aug)

 

MON 11th AUG              TRENCHING ALONG DRIVEWAY ON WESTERN SIDE OF DB087 & DB094.

                                    NO PARKING WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THIS AREA.

                                    Alternative parking will be available in the grassed area to the side of Solander Road (see attached drawing).  Follow the signs and DO NOT BLOCK THE SINGLE LANE ACCESS.

 

SAT 16th AUG               SOLANDER ROAD WILL BE CUT – NO VEHICLE ACCESS WILL BE POSSIBLE TO THE PRECINCT.  Access will be via the pedestrian bridge from the Medical School.  It is expected to be re-opened late on the same day.

 

MON 18th AUG              NORMAL OPERATION – TRENCHING FINISHED.

                                    Minor follow-up work in limited areas only.

 

IMPORTANT:  Would all lecturers and tutors please pass this information to your students during the coming week.  I do not have class list e-mail access yet and it is not appropriate to broadcast this to all students University-wide.
