Hi there! 

We're looking for a new housemate. We're a married couple, (the happy kind, not the bickering kind) one taxi driver/Chef and one Uni student, living in a four bedroom house in a quiet neighborhood in Annandale. We have one other roommate, who is also a JCU student. 

THE ROOM: clean, air-conditioned, unfurnished, ceiling fan, a bath/toilet shared with only one housemate (this room is for singles only, we will not rent to couples)

THE HOUSE: Between the studying and my husband's night taxi driving, the house is pretty quiet. Our house is near new, and our neighbors are great. The whole house is "wireless internet"-ed. There is a huge yard, and lots of space to add to our garden (if you're into that). We normally have a housekeeper come in once every two weeks to do floors bathrooms etc. (Ours got out of the cleaning business and we're having a bit of trouble finding a decent cleaner so we're still seeking)

YOU: We're looking for a roommate who is pretty laid-back and reasonably respectful to both house and housemates (meaning don't damage the house or be really loud at 3am is everyone is sleeping, that kind of stuff). Beyond that we're pretty flexible. We'd love someone looking for something sort long term (meaning, like a year or more) but if you only need the room for a term that's ok too.

Oh yeah, and there's no smoking in the house, but if you smoke, you're welcome to chill on the porch swing or whatever for your nicotine fix. 

So give us a call if you're interested and we'll find a time you can come by. The current occupant of this room is leaving June 28th so his stuff is still in the room. However, we will begin showing the room Thursday June 19th.
