JCU's management courses are a launching pad for a successful career in business and management. Management subjects have been designed after extensive consultation with prospective employers to give graduates a competitive edge in the business world and the job market.

Students receive a firm grounding with foundation subjects in the areas of accounting for decision making, economics, data analysis, customer experience, management and personal professional skills. Specialist studies in areas of business negotiation, managing organisational flexibility, service quality management, cross cultural management, managing small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship in emerging economies are integrated with general business subjects to ensure students develop relevant managerial skills alongside a broader business education

The JCU Bachelor of Business offers choice and flexibility because you can enhance your expertise by combining Management and entrepreneurship with a second major from Accounting, Economic and Regional Development (Townsville only), Financial Management (Townsville only)(Townsville only), Hospitality Management (Cairns only), Human Resource Management, International Business (Cairns only), Marketing or Tourism Management. Alternatively, you can study in non-business disciplines to cater for individual interests or a specialist career goal.
