The course includes foundation subjects in the areas of marketing fundamentals, accounting for decision making, economics, data analysis, customer experience, management and personal professional skills. These subjects are then complemented by specialist topics in marketing communications, consumer behaviour, international marketing, strategic marketing, public relations and interactive marketing.
The JCU Bachelor of Business offers choice and flexibility because you can enhance your expertise by combining Marketing with a second major from Accounting, Economic and Regional Development (Townsville only), Financial Management (Townsville only), Hospitality Management (Cairns only), Human Resource Management, International Business (Cairns only), Management and Entrepreneurship or Tourism Management. Alternatively, you can study in non-business disciplines to cater for individual interests or a specialist career goal.
