Direct Mailing Service
JCU Careers and Employment Service will organise direct mail-outs to targeted groups of students via mail or email.
The JCU Careers and Employment Service offer this service subject to the following conditions:

Only information that deals specifically with graduate/part-time/casual/vacation/scholarship/work experience vacancies will be mailed.

Your information needs to include a disclaimer that your information is being sent through the JCU Careers and Employment Service in order to ensure the confidentiality of student information. An example of a disclaimer is:
"This information has been sent out by the James Cook University Careers and Employment Service. Your name and address were not released to the employer."

You may use a generic disclaimer if you prefer.

Mail-outs need to be accompanied with a letter or email of instructions and contact details for invoicing.

Materials to be sent to students should be sent in bulk to the Townsville campus of the JCU Careers and Employment Service.
Direct Mailing Service Costs:

Per email per student: $2.00 (including GST)

Per D/L size envelope: $3.00 (including GST)

Per A4 size envelope: $4.00 (including GST)
Please note that a search fee of $50.00 (including GST) will apply prior to the commencement of any search of student numbers requested by the employer. Once relevant documentation is received confirming authorisation, a search of student numbers will commence. This fee will be deducted from the overall quote should the employer proceed with the mail-out.
You can also make reference material, take-home information and applications for your organisation available to students through our service. All information is promoted and displayed within the JCU Careers and Employment Service. There is no charge for this service
