Individual Career Counselling
Staff at the JCU Careers & Employment Service will assist you with any query you may have in relation to careers and employment.
If you wish to talk directly to a Careers Counsellor about your career or employment options, an appointment can be made by contacting JCU Careers & Employment Service staff.
Career Guidance Programs
Adult Directions , a program to help with career decision making is now available to JCU students online. To access the program please contact JCU Careers & Employment for a username and password.
Other career guidance programs and materials are available at the Careers & Employment Service on the Townsville and Cairns campuses.
Employment Preparation Workshops
Employment preparation workshops/information sessions cover job search strategies, application letter and resume writing, addressing selection criteria and interview techniques. Session topics, times and the locations of workshops are listed in the events and workshops section within JCU CareerHub.
