Resume & Selection Criteria Checking

The JCU Careers & Employment Service provides feedback and advice to JCU students and recent graduates on their resume, covering letter and response to selection criteria.

To access this service you need to:

  • construct a draft version of your application using the information available from JCU CareerHub or from the JCU Careers and Employment Service on your campus

  • drop in or email your draft application to the JCU Careers and Employment Service

  • make a follow-up appointment.

Job Search Articles

JCU Careers & Employment have produced a number of articles to assist students with their preparation for employment. These job search articles are available in hard copy from the JCU Careers & Employment Service on the Townsville and Cairns campuses. The job search articles are also available in the “Job Tip” section of JCUCareerHub.
