How to Advertise a Job on JCU CareerHub

Employers are able to either register on JCU CareerHub and submit your vacancy details or contact JCU Careers and Employment staff.

To register as an employer on JCU CareerHub you need to:

• click on the 'register' button within JCU CareerHub.

• wait to receive approval of your application via email from the Careers & Employment staff

Once you are registered you can then advertise job vacancies on JCU CareerHub by clicking on the 'login' button within CareerHub.

Employers who do not have the facility to enter their own vacancies onto CareerHub are advised to email the vacancy details to employment@jcu.edu.au or phone the JCU Careers and Employment Service.

Approval of Positions Placed On JCU CareerHub

All items you add to JCU CareerHub will be subject to approval by the JCU Careers and Employment Service. The C&E Service is willing to advertise vacancies from Recruitment Agencies however we will require the name of the company you are representing. The name will not be divulged to students.

Vacancy Filled

Employers are asked to remove vacancy advertisements via the web or notify the JCU Careers & Employment Service once the vacancy is filled.

Benefits of Registering on JCU CareerHub

When you are registered as an employer on CareerHub you will be able to:

• maintain your contact details and set your company into appropriate employment categories

• add a list of contact people within your company, and specify what 'Service' (eg: Graduate Employment, Part-time/Casual Employment) they should be the primary contact for

• add vacancies directly to the CareerHub system for students to search

• edit and close the vacancies you have listed

• view a history of all the previous vacancies you have listed on CareerHub

• add events you are running to CareerHub for students to search (employment related only)
