Special Interest Topic 1

Townsville, Cairns, External HECS Band 2

13 hours tutorials, 78 hours independent research. Semester 1 and 2.

Available to postgraduate certificate, diploma and Master of Information Technology students, with prior approval of the Head of School of Information Technology.

An independent study and/or research devoted to a topic of special interest to the student and/or relevance to the enrolled course. The subject is developed in consultation with a member of staff of the School of Information Technology.

Learning Objectives:

  1. ability to demonstrate capabilities and understanding at a level appropriate for postgraduate studies, including analysis and design.

Assessment is determined by the supervising staff member.
