Research FellowsThe University has implemented a scheme of Position Classification Standards and Promotional Criteria for Research Fellows. The Standards and Criteria are available as a downloadable RTF file, or from the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation). Promotions - Promotion shall be on the basis of merit. Ability and achievement are the principal factors with primary but not sole consideration given to performance since appointment or promotion to the current designation at the University. The minimum requirement for promotion shall be that the candidate meets the skills base recognised for the staff level concerned. In determining experience relative to qualifications the primary focus will be on research and related activities. Teaching experience, professional contributions and/or technical achievement and experience in the wider community will be considered as supporting material. The candidate is expected to maintain and develop the appropriate level of research activities and outputs. The closing dates for applications are normally as for Academic Promotions. Applications should be forwarded to the Chair of the Research Fellows Promotions Committee (the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation)). Application forms are available as downloadable RTF files -
or from the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation).
