The Corporate Information Section (CIS) is part of Governance and Corporate Services. The Section is responsible for ensuring the University's official records are captured and managed to support business activities and fulfil legislative requirements.
Records management Records management at the University is essentially decentralised. JCU's records management policy can be accessed via the University's homepage at:
Archives The Archives holds permanent official records owned by the University and also records of bodies and people associated with the history of the University. Queries about the University Archives should be directed to the Manager, CIS.
Freedom of Information Any queries regarding Freedom of Information should be directed to the Manager, CIS.
Privacy Information privacy queries should be directed to the Manager, CIS.
