We now have several PhD and MSc vacancies in a wide range of exciting research project in hydrological sciences. The following are a list of indicative PhD projects on offer for students wishing to commence in 2008/9. Projects can be adjusted to suit most needs; potential supervisors are listed and can be re-arranged to suit modified project descriptions. Funding of your living allowance scholarship comes from APA, JCU or JCUEarth Sciences Scholarships, all of which are competitive, or IPRS for overseas students, which are highly competitive. Project support ranges from logistical in-kind support through to expensive analyses in external laboratories, and many projects have a range of support needs. You should discuss these with potential supervisors during project formulation stages.
