Summary:

The Australian Tropical Herbarium is a new joint venture between CSIRO, JCU and the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency.

It boasts an unsurpassed collection of preserved specimens of North Queensland’s flora and a state-of-the-art molecular bioscience laboratory.

Together these facilities allow biologists studying different aspects of plant science to work together to discover and document the unique flora of north Queensland.
