Summary:

Richard Pearson has enjoyed over 30 years studying the unique biodiversity of Wet Tropics rivers.

In this illustrated talk he reviews the extent of this biodiversity, its origin and its maintenance, and assesses its resilience in the face of human impacts such as agriculture, water extraction and climate change.
