Summary:

The Australasian Law Teachers Association (ALTA) Conference is an annual legal conference organised by a host law school in conjunction with ALTA.

In 2008 James Cook University will be the host law school. The conference offers delegates a number of plenary sessions and also provides a forum for approximately 30 legally related interest groups to meet, hear from leaders in the field and to discuss current legal issues.
