Summary: |
Applications of novel technologies will be the future of sugar industry in Australia to thrive in the competitive world sugar market. Application of state-of-the-art membrane technology in Australian sugar industry will obviously make us seen as the world leaders in bringing sustainable development through innovation. This workshop will focus on the numerous applications of membranes in the sugar industry in general and provide specific details on the clarification of sugarcane juice for raw sugar production. Demonstration of sugar juice clarification using a test scale membrane plant will also be carried out. Extensive discussions with the teams from the sugar mills will take part to develop a road map to this exciting venture. |
