Choose JCU as number 1
Getting your OP or making your initial application to study at university is not the end of the process.
At James Cook University we pride ourselves on being helpful and friendly, but most of all approachable. That’s why we are opening our doors (and our computer screens) to help those of you who have some last minute questions about university study, your application or simply what happens next.
For School Leavers
Once you know your Overall Position (OP), you can be more realistic about your choices.
Perhaps you have received a better result than you expected. Your choices are now a little wider than you initially thought. We can help you make the most of your OP by changing your preference order or by adding new courses.
If you have not done as well as you hoped, we can again help with courses and career advice to reorder or change your preferences to more appropriate choices.
For Non-School Leavers
We realise that returning to study or studying for the first time a little later in life can also be a bit daunting. You might need some additional advice to put your mind at ease.
Drop in your closest JCU Student Enquiries Centre, or join us on line to have all of your questions answered.
