Scholarships and assistance
Although the majority of postgraduate scholarships are for research students, there are some JCU Scholarships for postgraduate coursework students. The Jason postgraduate scholarships site also includes coursework scholarships.
Research students
Research students can access scholarships and grants to fund their research. JCU’s Scholarships site gives details of JCU scholarships and provides links to a range of external scholarships. Also, try the Jason site for extensive postgraduate research scholarship opportunities.
JCU’s Graduate Research School can assist with grant applications to major funding bodies, including the Australian Research Council (ARC) and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). For further information contact the JCU Graduate Research School on

International postgraduate students may be able to access some scholarships for research and coursework programs and should visit JCU’s International Student Centre for information.
