Description: |
Students who demonstrate a strong performance in the Bachelor of Exercise Physiology (Clinical) may qualify for entry into Honours which involves an integrated program of study and research in the fourth year of study. An Honours degree is usually essential for entry to research higher degrees. JCU also offers masters and doctoral programs to graduates wishing to pursue careers in clinical exercise physiology / sport and exercise science research. |

Students who wish to enter the Honours degree will need to complete the following; Students should also speak to the Honours Coordinator of the Institute of Sport and Exercise Science to discuss possible transfer into the Honours degree.

Professional Accreditation
Graduates may be eligible for membership with the Australian Association for Exercise and Sport Science (AAESS). AAESS accreditation may lead to Provider Number status in order that graduates may provide professional clinical exercise physiology services. Note: The University and the Institute of Sport and Exercise Science do not guarantee that graduates will achieve either accreditation or provider status as a result of completing this course.
