Infectious Diseases Policy
Health care worker students are likely to come in contact with patients with infectious diseases or fresh samples from these patients, both during their studies and after graduation.
Many of these diseases are preventable through either immunisation or risk limiting behaviour.
Students have a resposibility to protect their patients, their colleagues and themselves.
