Uniprep – preparing for university

The Uniprep program is designed for mature-age people who are considering enrolling at JCU but who may feel they need additional skills, confidence and knowledge about university study before commencing a course. The program is offered by part-time and/or intensive modes in Townsville, Cairns and Mackay. The Uniprep course is about 50 hours in duration, and students are introduced to a variety of study skills, such as assignment writing, note-taking and exam techniques. The course also includes an introduction to computers and the various support services available. Uniprep is held twice per year, and costs $50. For further information visit Uniprep
