Vascular Biology Unit Combination Scholarships

The Queensland Research Centre for Peripheral Vascular Disease at James Cook University seeks expressions of interest for outstanding PhD, Masters and Honours candidates with relevant science backgrounds to undertake a range of PVD related projects encompassing both pre-clinical and clinical work. Both full and top-up scholarships are available for applicants with excellent academic results and who are motivated to study this important area.

Apply for the scholarship if you are:

  • interested in undertaking a PhD in a medically related field
  • wish to contribute to the understanding of a condition that affects five percent of men over the age of 60
  • Would you like additional funding

How to apply

Both domestic and international applicants should apply for a scholarship through the Graduate Research School. Applicants must also follow normal application procedures for the Postgraduate Research Scholarships at JCU.

The Queensland Research Centre for Peripheral Vascular Disease at James Cook University (QRCPVD) is leading research to investigate novel mechanisms, diagnostics and treatments for patients with peripheral vascular disease (PVD), one of the most understudied and morbid conditions in the field of medical research.
