Step 1: Select a program

Take a look at our courses and degrees and find the course that will best prepare you for your career of choice. If you already know what you would like to study, you can move on to the next step and verify if you meet the entry requirements for your chosen program. If you are not sure what course to study or have questions about a particular course you can contact us for more information.

Step 2: Check Entry Requirements

Entry requirements vary depending on whether you would like to study an undergraduate course, a postgraduate or research program. There are also individual entry requirements for individual courses and requirements depending on what country you are from.

Step 3: Check Advance Standing Eligibility

JCU has flexible advanced standing arrangements with other universities and vocational education providers. If you have completed a degree, diploma or university subjects, you may be entitled to advanced standing.

Step 4: Apply for your program

Applying to study at James Cook University varies depending on whether you would like to study an undergraduate degree, a postgraduate study program, a postgraduate research program, or via our Study Abroad program. You can begin the application right now. You can also apply through a JCU official representative agent in your country. An agent could help select a course to suit your needs and will assist you with all your paperwork.
