Examinations
Policy set by JCU’s Academic Board states that students must sit exams at the scheduled time. The Board's policy does not allow for students to sit exams in advance, or to have special exams set. JCU’s specified exam periods in June and November are set as part of the academic year and students are expected to sit exams in those periods.
A student who is unable to sit an exam due to extenuating circumstances should apply for a deferred exam.
Exam FAQ’s, tips for examination success, an explanation of grades and searching for past exam papers are all available at Assessment and Exams.
