Tuition fees and costs for Study Abroad students
The Study Abroad tuition fee for 2008 is AUD$7,800 per teaching period(semester) or AUD $15,600 per year, and AUD$8,000 per teaching period (semester) in 2009 and AUD$16,000 per year.
Other costs that Study Abroad students should be aware of include:

Books and supplies - can cost at least AUD$300-$400 per teaching period (semester)

Field Trips – costs for these will vary by subject. Contact the relevant Faculty/School for details.

Accommodation - Approx AUD$3200-4000 per teaching period (semester)
Financial aid
Although JCU does not offer financial assistance or scholarships to Study Abroad students, students from the United States may be able to use their Federal financial aid (FAFSA) for Study Abroad at JCU.
Students from other countries may also be eligible to take their provincial or state financial aid abroad. Please check with your study abroad agent/representative for additional financial aid options that may be available to you for studying abroad.
