Graduate Certificate of Dispute Resolution

Overview

Description:

In Western culture the adversarial system has been the principal method of dispute resolution. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is a recent discipline. The knowledge, skills and techniques of ADR have common application in most human contexts involving negotiation, mediation and communication. This is a convenient 4-subject course for graduates from other disciplines who draw heavily on conflict deconstruction and issue resolution (eg. Social work, environmental management). The course is also relevant for middle management and legal professionals.
