Biography

Mandy Shircore joined the Law School, Cairns Campus, in 2002 having previously practiced law for over twelve years. Mandy’s main areas of practice were in criminal law and victim compensation. She currently teaches torts, contract law and competition mooting.

In 2006, Mandy’s twenty years of voluntary involvement in the provision of legal advice, establishment and management of community legal services was recognised when she received the Toni Dick Memorial Prize for outstanding community service. She is currently the JCU Law School nominee on the management committee of the Environmental Defender’s Office of North Queensland.
