Biography
Mr Eric Holm joined James Cook University in 2008 and has taught within the Tertiary sector in Queensland at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Mr Eric Holm has taught at James Cook University, Central Queensland University, University of Sunshine Coast and Griffith University. Mr Eric Holm holds undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in both Law and Business and is currently undertaking doctoral studies, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in law. The research focus of this research is on the regulation of virtual crime.
Mr Eric Holm’s research interests extend to commercial areas such as contract law and business law. Outside the Law School Mr Holm is actively engaged with both the profession and the community. As part of this engagement he is presently the appointed Official Legal Visitor for the Townsville Correctional Centre for the Office of the Chief inspector of Corrective Services.
