The Sandalwood Research Newsletter (SRN) is a web-published periodical for the communication of research related to the genus Santalum. The Newsletter provides information about current research, development and extension activities within industry organizations, government departments and research institutions. The aim of the publication is to increase public awareness of the natural source of sandalwood products and the need for genus conservation and plantation establishment.
Increasing scientific awareness through the international Santalum species literature can (i) promote Santalum species conservation (ii) stimulate Santalum species plantation establishment (iii) increase research and development linkages between interested organisations (iv) increase Santalum species literature exposure If wish to receive email alerts for new issues please contact the editor giving your name, organisation and email address. SRN welcomes papers of original research, short communications and reviews relevant to species of Santalum. Manuscript should be prepared according to the guidelines for authors and submitted electronically to the editor. SRN also provides relevant links to other sandalwood publications and activities. |
