Vision Statement: "To provide leadership and excellence in medical and dental education and research in northern Australia. Teaching, scholarship and research will have a particular focus on the health status, health workforce and health care needs of communities in the tropics. The School will be a recognised leader in the focus areas of rural and remote health, tropical medicine and the health of Indigenous Australians for Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. The School's programs will increasingly be integrated with the health care delivery systems in northern Australia including direct health care to communities."
