Plant Conservation and Management
Australia’s regions of highest biodiversity is on our doorstep in the tropical rainforests of North Queensland. Adjacent ecosystems are also highly diverse in structure and the species that occur in them.
We study the biology, ecology and impacts on species in these systems, some of which are rare and threatened. We have active research into conservation genetics, species biology and biodiversity of plants within the region.
