Areas of Research Strength
There are five Areas of Research Strength (AoRS) within James Cook University – Earth Sciences, Marine Science, Tropical Biology and Conservation, Biotechnology and Biomolecular Science, Identity and Place: intellectual, social, economic and cultural dynamics. The school of Marine and Tropical Biology manages two of these as follows:
