[Centralcomputing_resolved] To all enrolled students at JCU: what to do if you cannot see your subject in LearnJCU?

Dear Students,

Study Period 2 is almost here. So you've checked out LearnJCU (https://learnjcu@jcu.edu.au) and had a look around.

What should you do if you cannot see all your subjects in LearnJCU?

The answer is Don't Panic!

There are 4 easy steps to take, if any subject you believe you are enrolled in does NOT list in LearnJCU.

Step 1. First go to eStudent to check your enrolment detail. Login to eStudent. Choose the Enrol Online link in the left hand menu. Then click on Current Enrolment. That lists all the subject availabilities you are enrolled in.

What if... you ARE enrolled in a subject availability in eStudent, but it does NOT list in LearnJCU?
Or
What if...
your subject availability lists in LearnJCU but when you click on it, no study materials are present?

Step 2: Contact your subject lecturer to clarify whether the subject is being taught online in LearnJCU.
-Subject sites may be empty because they are not in use.
-They may not list in some cases because the lecturer has made them 'temporarily unavailable', perhaps because they are still being developed and prepared with materials. This is the most common cause of a subject not listing! So -
Contact your subject lecturer.

Step 3: If your lecturer says it ought to be available, but it still does not list in LearnJCU, email eStudent Support at estudentsupport@jcu.edu.au or call Enquiries on 4781 5255 for assistance.

The staff in eStudent Support will make sure your central enrolment record is correct. LearnJCU data is based in JCU central student data and if that is incorrect, LearnJCU will be incorrect.

Step 4: If your central enrolment record IS correct according to eStudent Support, email learnjcu@jcu.edu.au
Provide your full name, Student ID and the full code of the subject that is not listing. (e.g. 08-AG10000-Cns-I-23). We will investigate.

Remember, if you are a student at JCU, you can read this - and get more info - on the For Students tab in LearnJCU.

All the best for your studies,
The LearnJCU Team
