NVivo JCU Site License Agreement

This Agreement is valid from 31/1/07 to 30/1/08. The NVivo Site License Agreement is a volume based license Agreement.
Licenses are purchased on a per annum basis. The cost of a license is calculated by QSR International, and is based on the total number of licenses that are purchased. Schools/Faculty it-support staff aggregate the total number of licenses needed for their areas, they forward this information to ITR with relevant account codes to cover the cost of their license(s) purchase.
ITR aggregate the number of licenses requested and negotiate a per license cost with QSR International

The Agreement allows for Postgraduate students to purchase a license through their School/Faculty, while they have a formal relationship with the University. Once this relationship ceases the license is no longer valid and the software must be removed

Staff and Postgrads who install NVivo on their University owned computer/laptop under the terms of this Agreement are entitled to install one additional copy of the software on their personal computer/laptop provided that:

  • The software is being used for educational purposes
  • The work and home versions are not used concurrently
