Applications for general access on the JCU Central Computing machines are no longer required. All users now have access to both the Menu Option and the Unix Shell Command Prompt on email.jcu.edu.au.
All existing software titles on Lionfish, Swordfish & Sailfish are now available on email.jcu.edu.au
To use the Unix Shell Command Prompt directly from the menu select the following option:
- 13. Unix Shell Command Prompt
Users also have the option to open their email.jcu.edu.au sessions directly at the prompt. To do this users should select the following option on the menu:
- 12. Toggle between this menu and the shell command prompt at login
This option also allows you to return to the automatic menu option at any time simply by typing menuaccess at the command prompt and selecting the same option to reset the value.
