NON-INSTITUTIONAL APPLICANTS

Those organisations that do not have access to an AEC, may apply to the James Cook University AEC for ethics approval. The JCU AEC will decide on a case by case basis whether to accept the application. Once an application is accepted and approved, non-institutional applicants must enter into a formal agreement with JCU AEC, which outlines the shared responsibilities between the AEC and the non-institutional organisation in relation to 2.2.43 of the Code. (Pro-Forma Letter of Agreement Non-Institutional Applicants)
