James Cook University's telephone communication systems are currently provided by Ericsson MD110 technology. This system will soon be retiring as a project is currently underway to upgrade to a new Avaya VoIP System. Staff will be making their last calls on the Ericsson phone system at the end of June as the New Avaya VoIP system goes live.
