Checklist for Admission
After receiving your information pack from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine please ensure your application is processed quickly by understanding the following procedures:

Application Form
Complete the application form, including subject selection and full details of two referees.
Please ensure you give contact details in case the Head of the School of Public Health, Tropical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences needs to contact you to discuss your application.
Attach required documentation with your application:

Certified copies of academic transcripts and degree certificates signed by a Justice of the Peace

A detailed and updated CV.

Postgraduate Coursework Application Form
Masters or PhD by Research Application Form
Masters or PhD by Research/Scholarship Application Form
Submit Form
Send all the above to the:
Postgraduate Student Officer,
Anton Breinl Centre,
James Cook University
TownsvilleQLD 4811.
Review Process
Your application will then be viewed by the Head of the School of Public Health, Tropical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences and the Executive Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Health and Molecular Sciences. Approval is not automatic.
Offer
Your application will then be sent to Student Administration who will either send you a letter offering you a place in the degree or a letter giving reasons why your application has been rejected.
Acceptance
You then need to either accept or reject this offer and send this letter back to Student Administration as soon as possible

Note: External and Limited Attendance modes: enrolments must be made before the Semester census dates.
Block modes: Early enrolment is recommended as some block mode subjects do have a quota.
