Applying for undergraduate study
All applications for undergraduate study – that is, diploma or bachelor degrees – are made to the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC).
Key dates
QTAC deadlines
Monday 26 May – last day to apply to QTAC to be considered for first offer round. The majority of courses are available in the first round.
Thursday 5 June – offer letters mailed to applicants by QTAC.
Tuesday 10 June – last day to apply to QTAC to be considered for second offer round. Please note, course availability may be limited in this round.
Thursday 19 June – offer letters mailed to applicants by QTAC.
Other dates
Thursday 1 May – applications considered for on-campus accommodation in Townsville for mid year intake. Visit the Accommodation Service for more information.
Tuesday 29 July – Orientation program starts for new students.
Monday 4 August – Study Period 2 classes commence
