Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Library Liaison Officer

The Library Liaison Officer works with staff and students of the School of Indigenous Australian Studies in Townsville to provide an optimum library service for the School. Particular responsibilities include:

• acting as a focus for contact and enquiries from staff and students within the School

• providing library skills education and related library activities

• providing suitable orientation for new staff and students

• maintaining a collection of network resources accessible via the World Wide Web.

Other responsibilities include CD-ROM tutorials, help with CD-ROM searches, and help with using computers.
