Business Review & Improvement Team

The Business Review & Improvement Team (BRIT) has been tasked by the JCU Future Taskforce with a Review of Services and Operations.  The objective of the review is to ensure we have services to see us into the future, to provide better and more satisfying jobs for our staff, better service for all, and improved organisational effectiveness.  The scope of the review will include all our enabling processes and services that support the University's core activities of Learning & Teaching, Research & Innovation and Engagement.

Mobilisation

The JCU Future Taskforce / BRIT Review of Services & Operations will be executed over a 6 month period with consultation across the University.  Initially, we will identify key stakeholders and develop a communication plan to underpin the project.

Analysis

Through engaging with key service providers we will obtain an overview of the current service delivery in support of core activities across the University.  This analysis will focus not only on the services “owned” and delivered by the Divisions, but also functions performed within Faculties and Schools.

Workshops

By listening to you and your ideas on what currently works and what could be improved we will identify areas for process improvement.   We will be using structured workshops and focus groups involving service providers and customers.
