Psychology Clinic: Appointments

Referrals to the Clinic and the Memory Clinic are accepted for individuals or families requiring assessment and /or treatment of psychological or behavioural problems and where psychiatric hospitalisation is not thought to be necessary. Crisis or emergency intervention referrals are not accepted. Such referrals are directed to Lifeline, or Queensland Health’s Community Assessment and Treatment Team.

Referral Processes

Referrals are accepted from medical practitioners, mental health agencies, other organisations, allied health professionals, teachers, guidance officers, and self-referrals. Referrals may be made by

Fees (from January 2008)

The Clinic operates on a fee for service, where fees are considerably cheaper than standard rates for private services.

Referral rate:

Per session for an individual/family $ 50.00

Per person in a group $ 25.00 (Adult)

$ 10.00 (Child)

Organisation Referrals:

Per session for an individual $110.00

Report $110.00
