The Doctor of Astronomy (DoA).
In the JCU Centre for Astronomy we use the abbreviation DoA for the JCU Doctor
of Astronomy degree program.
We appreciate of course that DOA also stands for
Dead On Arrival. We must try not to get the two DoA's mixed up!
It's DoA not D.O.A.!
