Note the sloughing of the superficial epidermis over much of this
frog. Sloughed skin appears as thin wrinkled colourless
material on the back and legs and makes the skin look roughened
and dull.
In terms of skin changes, this Myxophyes represents the severe end of the spectrum. The clinical signs in the skin even in severe cases are subtle. |
