B. dendrobatidis is now endemic in the areas where the epidemic spread.
If we look hard enough, we can find the chytrid on the toes of normal frogs in
these areas, and occasional frogs also die from chtridiomycosis.
As the search continues we add new species and new locations to the list of infected species and sites. |
