At the current time (April 1999) we are tracing the epidemic back through time and trying to determine the limits of the zones. For the historical work we would very much like specimens from:
  • Corroboree frogs from 1970-present
  • Pseudophrene from coastal NSW
  • Any population that has shown a sudden decline.
The archived collections that are of most value are those that span the period of a decline particularly before, during and after. However, any specimen adds to the story.

For the zonal work our most high priority specimens are:

  • Inland frogs
  • Frogs from Tasmania
  • Frogs from Northern Territory
  • Frogs from northern Western Australia.
