Entry Requirements

For entrance into the Bachelor of Pharmacy, applicants require an exit assessment in English, Maths B and Chemistry of Sound Achievement or better, over four semesters, in Queensland Year 12 (or the interstate or overseas equivalent), appropriate OP or Tertiary Entrance Rank.

Applicants from rural and remote areas are encouraged to apply.

Application Process

Current year 12 applicants:

Apply to QTAC via the web at www.qtac.edu.au or by telephone on 1900 971 166 by 28 September 2007. Late applications will not be accepted.

Applicants must also submit a separate internal application form to the JCU Faculty Student Officer by 28 September 2007. Late applications will not be accepted.

Non year 12 applicants (other than JCU students):

Apply to QTAC via the web at www.qtac.edu.au or purchase a copy of the QTAC Guide Tertiary Courses 2008, available at most Queensland newsagents. Applications must reach QTAC by 28 September 2007. Late applications will not be accepted.

Applicants must also submit a separate internal application form to the JCU Faculty Student Officer by 28 September 2007. Late applications will not be accepted.

JCU Student (current student or have been a student within the last five years):

DO NOT apply through QTAC but submit the internal application form together with the appropriate Request for Commonwealth support and HECS-HELP form to the Faculty Student Officer, DB1.113 by 28 September 2007.
