The JCU Baseball Club is an affiliated and subsidised club of the JCU Student Association.
We compete in A and B Grades of the BATT League. There are about five clubs in the league.
2005 was a great year for the Manta Rays. Both the A and B Grade teams advanced into the playoffs. B Grade fought hard in the three game finals series to claim the runner up position, while A Grade bowed out.

The 2006 season is due to start in April and run to September. Games will be played on Saturdays (12:00 or 2:30pm) at Jabiru Park in Condon (map).
Trainings are to be held on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm - meet at the tennis courts next to the cricket oval (map).
To be part of the 2006 season, contact one of the club officials. The competition is open to both males and females.
No previous baseball experience is necessary; ex-softballers are more than welcome.
